The Materials Research Society of Japan (MRS-J) announces its Call for Papers for MRM2021 to be held on Dec. 13-17, 2021 in Yokohama, Japan.

This Meeting is one of the international conferences, hosted by the MRS-J, focusing on ‘recent scientific developments and applications of advanced materials to achieve the SDGs, cordially invite your abstract submission. This Meeting will be the event for an update on the challenges at the frontier of materials and related technologies.

A great number of distinguished scientists will deliver technical and public lectures at the Meeting, including 5 plenary and 28 cluster keynotes. Each symposium will have keynote and invited talks, contributed oral and poster presentations. A wide range of topics of contemporary importance for science, engineering and technology of materials will be highlighted and provide materials scientists with the opportunity to tackle the global issues.

MRM2021 will take place as a face-to-face meeting, and all events will be held at the venue in Yokohama. Authors who have submitted abstracts will be asked to deliver in-person presentations (oral or poster) of their work; however, they can present virtually if they cannot travel in December due to COVID-19. All meeting attendees will be able to participate in the meeting in-person and virtually. We look forward to a successful MRM2021 and appreciate your continued support.
