Workshop for Juniors "Top level Science and Technology from Young Researchers"

May 30, 2019
Room Med A3 - level 1

Scope:

This half-day symposium aims to bring together top level young researchers working at academia and industry, sharing not only the science and technology behind their work but also their career paths to reach excellence and scientific independence. This specific event in Nice is devoted to ERC Starting Grants, one of the best funding opportunities devoted to scientific excellence. Speakers include ERC Starting Grant laureates at different stages of implementation of their research projects. The event seeks to inspire and guide young researchers, particularly  at later stages of their PhD studies or holding a postdoctoral position, seeking also to trigger networking on material science throughout Europe.
