A few words about the 3rd Nano In Bio Conference ….

This international conference is addressed not only to physicists and biologists but also to chemists, pharmacists, doctors, from the academic and private sectors, who wish to learn about nanotechnologies applied to life sciences and materials. Priority will be given to young researchers, PhD students, senior researchers, engineers, whose themes evolve towards this multidisciplinary field. Secondarily, it is aimed at academic and private researchers already working at the interface of biophysics, chemistry, biology and material science and wish to broaden their approaches and / or knowledge to nanotechnologies.

Its main objectives are:

  • Gather around researchers with several common points in various fields ranging from physics to biology through chemistry, medical sciences and materials sciences.
  • Create strong links between different scientific communities to initiate multi-technique collaborations for scientific advance under a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Initiate international projects between European, American and Caribbean labs including emerging countries (Brazil, Mexico, Argentina).

The 2020 program will be a great showcase for the talents and a wonderful opportunity to hear talks from renowned speakers including Prof. Nicholas Kotov (University of Michigan, US), Prof. Sonia Contera (Oxford University, UK) and Prof. Takayuki Uchihashi (Nagoya University, Japan).

We propose for this third edition 4 topics such as Nanotechnology in materials & life sciences (Nanoengineering of materials, Applied physics and chemistry for health, Phyto-nanotechnology and applications, From theoretical chemistry to biological processes), Nanobiotechnology & Nanomedecine (Nanobioelectronics and biosensors for theragnostics, Nanobiomechanics and applications in nanobiology, Tissue engineering and regenerative nanomedicine, Nanomicrobiology and applications), Nanomaterials & biomaterials for health (Nanomaterials and smart materials for health, Structure and applications of biomimetic materials, Nanotoxicity, nanovectorization and drug delivery systems) and Nano-instrumentation & latest advances (Computational and machine learning methods, Instruments and methods for samples nano exploration, New advances in micro and nano imaging, Latest coupling techniques with imaging super-resolution).
