Materials Futures

Materials Futures (IF 10.8) is a high-impact journal publishing transformative advances across the full spectrum of materials science, sponsored by the Dongguan Institute of Materials Science and Technology (CAS) and partnered with IOP Publishing. In 2025, a sister journal AI for Science was launched, aiming for pioneering research in artificial intelligence (AI) in driving scientific innovation. Currently, the APC is fully waived for all the authors for publication in these two journals.
