E-MRS provides users of the website www.european-mrs.com with available and verified information and tools, but it cannot be held responsible for any errors in or unavailability of certain information.  We ask site users to inform us of any omissions, errors or corrections by filling in the contact form.

The general structure, as well as the software, text, moving or fixed images, illustrations, graphics and any other components of the website www.european-mrs.com are for the exclusive use of E-MRS. Any total or partial representation of this site, by any means whatsoever, without the express permission of E-MRS, is prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable under Articles L. 335-2 et seq. of the Intellectual Property Code.  E-MRS cannot be held liable for any hyperlinks set up on this website to other resources on the internet.  Website users and visitors cannot set up a hyperlink to this site without the prior express permission of E-MRS.  To do this, please fill in the contact form.

PERSONAL DATA

Users are informed that in accordance with Article 27 of the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the information provided via the forms on the website may be used by E-MRS. Users have the right to access and correct this data.

Furthermore, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation,E-MRSdoes not collect personal data other than those Visitors voluntarily provide on the Website (i.e. name, first name, contact details including the email address, function and organisation), either when they sign up for newsletters, send a contact request, or register to a conference.

Personal Data collected on the Website will be processed by E-MRS for the following purposes:

  • communicate with the Spring and Fall Meetings attendees and provide them with information and materials needed for attending the conference (badge, floorplan, etc);
  • promote E-MRS activities (sending of newsletters, brochures, sending of invitations to events, etc.). If Visitors do not wish to receive marketing emails, they may follow the “unsubscribe” instructions included within each email communication.

In addition, and still in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the user or, as the case may be, his beneficiaries who can prove they have a legitimate interest, are entitled to obtain, free of charge:

  • access to the personal data concerning the user,
  • confirmation that the user Personal Data is or is not being processed,
  • information concerning at least the purposes of the processing, the categories of data to which the processing relates and the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the data are communicated,
  • communication, in an intelligible form, of the data being processed, as well as any available information on the origin of the data.
