This symposium unites sustainable energy systems, soft matter/bio-environmental science, and advanced materials engineering, showcasing their integration for clean energy, healthcare, and environmental solutions. The program features breakthroughs in hydrogen technologies and next-generation energy storage, including materials for high-density hydrogen storage and post-lithium batteries. Knowledge-based development is emphasized, applying hydrogen dynamics research to design efficient reactors and enhancing hydrogen uptake through advanced materials combinations. Bio-inspired sessions will highlight nano/micro-structure innovations addressing environmental challenges through nature-driven approaches. These technologies leverage functional structures to create sustainable solutions with minimal environmental impact.
Contemporary scientific advancement increasingly relies on systematic application of research methodologies rather than revolutionary concepts alone. While high-throughput experimental techniques have dramatically accelerated materials development, computational sciences have transformed our predictive capabilities.
